Ole Bjørn Sjulstad
Telenor Group Senior Vice President for Central and Eastern Europe, Head of Telenor Russia; member of the VimpelCom Ltd. Board of directors
Background: Ole Bjørn Sjulstad joined Telenor in 2000 as Vice President. He has been Head of the Telenor Group representative office in Russia since March 2009. From 2002 to 2004, he served as Managing Director and Head of Telenor Asia, based in Singapore, and was subsequently in charge of Asian emerging markets as Senior Vice President and Development Director at Telenor headquarters in Norway. In May 2007, Sjulstad joined the regional division of Telenor Group for Central and Eastern Europe. Ole Bjørn Sjulstad is a member of the Board of Directors of VimpelCom Ltd. and the Grameenphone mobile operator (Bangladesh), which is part of Telenor Group. He has previously served on the boards of Telenor telecom companies in Thailand and Malaysia.
Education: Masters degree in Technical Design (MME) and Master of Business Administration (MBA). He also holds qualifications (management training course) from IMD (International Institute for Management Development) in Switzerland.
Natalia Schneider
Deputy Head of Telenor Russia, Director of Corporate Affairs
Background: Natalia Schneider joined Telenor in 2006. She is responsible for liaison with government agencies and legal advocacy organisations, the monitoring and discussion of all relevant legislation and regulations, as well as participation in business and investment forums. Natalia Schneider is engaged in developing the Telenor strategy for Russia and also heads the European Business Association's Committee on IT and Telecom Technologies. Before joining Telenor, she was Director of External and Government Relations at United Technologies Corporation, the US aerospace and design firm.
Education: Moscow Institute of Foreign Languages (MIFL) and York University, Toronto (Canada). MBA degree from UFISIA University in Antwerp (Belgium).
Anna Ivanova-Galitsina
PR and Communications Director, Telenor Russia
Background: Anna Ivanova-Galitsina joined Telenor in 2006. She is responsible for managing relations with the Russian and foreign media and with financial analysts, as well as with the PR and IR divisions of Russian telecom companies. She is also responsible for the participation of Telenor at industry events and in advertising projects. From 1998 to 2006, before joining Telenor, Anna Ivanova-Galitsina worked at the Moscow press centres of Dow Jones, The Financial Times, and Bloomberg.
Education: Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), St Charles Catholic Sixth Form College (London).
