(Fornebu, 21 July 2010) In the second quarter of 2010, Telenor Group reported revenues of NOK 25.2 billion, representing an organic revenue growth of 5 per cent. The EBITDA margin in the second quarter of 2010 was 28 per cent, and operating cash flow margin was 16 per cent. Adjusted operating profit was NOK 2.9 billion. Telenor's mobile operations added 5.4 million subscriptions during the quarter.

Last week, Telenor Group CEO Jon Fredrik Baksaas and Ole Bjørn Sjulstad, Head of Telenor Russia participated at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum. During 3 hectic days, Baksaas met with the Russian President, business leaders, state officials and press.

On 8 June this year, Kristin Skogen Lund was elected President of the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (the NHO) by the Confederation’s General Assembly.

Uninor has today launched its services in five new telecom circles, increasing its coverage to 13 telecom circles and its population footprint to 900 million people across India. Telenor holds a 67.25 per cent stake in the company.

(Fornebu, Norway, and Tyumen, Russia - 16 April 2010) Farimex Products, Inc. today withdrew its claim against Telenor East Invest AS, and the Federal Arbitrazh (Business) Court of the West Siberian District, in Tyumen, cancelled the ruling of the Eighth Arbitrazh Appellate Court in Omsk holding Telenor East Invest AS liable for US$1.73 billion in damages and terminated all proceedings.

(Fornebu, Norway, and Tyumen, Russia – 24 March 2010) The Federal Arbitrazh (Business) Court of the West Siberian District, Tyumen, today postponed for the fourth time the hearing of Telenor East Invest AS's appeal of the ruling of the Eighth Arbitrazh Appellate Court in Omsk holding Telenor East Invest AS liable for US$1.73 billion in damages as a result of a claim by Farimex Products Inc., the holder of ADRs equal to 0.002 per cent of OJSC VimpelCom shares.

Hungarian mobile operator Pannon owned by Telenor Group announced its intention to change its name to Telenor.

For the full year of 2009, Telenor's reported revenues increased by 2 per cent compared to 2008, reaching NOK 97.7 billion. The operating profit was NOK 13.3 billion. Telenor’s mobile operations added 2 million subscriptions during the quarter, reaching a total of 174 million.

Ole Bjorn Sjulstad, Senior Vice-President of Telenor Group and the CEO of Telenor Russia, has spoken at the Russia Forum 2010 conference organized by Troika Dialog investment company.

(12 January 2010 Fornebu/New Delhi) Uninor today announced its first month-end subscriber numbers since the launch in December 2009. By the end of the month, Uninor had secured 1.2 million subscribers in the eight telecom circles where its GSM services are available.
